According to cited reference, “Symptoms of envenomation include diaphoresis, hypertension, muscle cramping, weakness, and pain either near or distant from the site of envenomation. The most common presenting symptoms are abdominal and/or back pain that may be very severe and difficult to treat. Severe abdominal pain mimicking “acute abdomen” has been reported.”
