The goals of the program are to (1) support the development of young toxicologists and provide access to professional opportunities, (2) promote multidisciplinary collaboration in the field of clinical toxicology and to (3) provide a structured system for strengthening the network of AACT members.
ToxCoach is a group mentorship program where mentees can gain valuable career growth advice while networking and formulating career long relationships. Mentors will host quarterly meetings with small groups of mentees to discuss topics including but not limited to AACT, NACCT, scholarly activities, job prospects, career advice and more. The small groups will enable trainees to develop relationships within a small cohort of multidisciplinary peers. Students, residents, fellows and junior faculty, up to five years out of fellowship, are encouraged to apply as mentees this summer.
The application window for mentors and mentees will open in July and close in August. Matches will be made before the NACCT meeting.
