The Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Special Interest Section serves to unite members of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology with an interest in the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and conditions associated with exposure to environmental toxicants. Potential members include physician toxicologists with backgrounds in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Poison Center personnel, nurses and pharmacists.

About Occupational & Environmental Special Interest Section
The Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Special Interest Section serves to unite members of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology with an interest in the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and conditions associated with exposure to environmental toxicants. Potential members include physician toxicologists with backgrounds in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Poison Center personnel, nurses and pharmacists. The Section hopes to foster increased communication between its members, advancing the practice in the field through an open exchange of ideas and expertise. The nature of the subject also leads to interest and involvement of the section members in international medicine, public policy, and regulatory toxicology.
