About the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Special Interest Section
The Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion section aims to uplift, inspire, and mentor systemically marginalized and excluded people in the field of Toxicology. We aim to increase and empower membership and patient representation of black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ people, women, persons with disabilities, and other underrepresented groups within Toxicology. We aim to improve patient treatment and increase clinician competency in the treatment of systemically marginalized and excluded people.
Goals of Section:
- To develop a guild of people of color including black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ people, women, persons with disabilities, other underrepresented groups, and allies to support and further these groups' goals and aspirations.
