During their Spring Board meeting, the AACT Board established a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force. The AACT DEI Task Force is charged with:
(1) Identifying opportunities for DEI within the Academy
(2) Identifying opportunities for the AACT to impact disparities among patient populations.
Drs. Jill Theobald and Alexandra Funk will serve as the board representatives to this task force. AACT will provide staff support. The task force will meet per a schedule determined by its membership. The task force will present its recommendations to the Board during their Fall Board meeting on October 19.
