What were the most common findings identified in children exposed the methamphetamine?
Hypertension and tachycardia. A retrospective review of patients presenting to a pediatric tertiary care center identified 79 patients with suspected methamphetamine toxicity. In addition to typical sympathomimetic findings, common symptoms identified in this population included abnormal motor activity and gastrointestinal signs.
