Regional Representatives are expected to:
Representation & Advocacy
- Represent AACT at designated regional meetings (clinical toxicology, emergency medicine, or pharmacy) annually.
- Deliver AACT updates and presentations when invited by the AACT Education Committee or Board of Trustees.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local and regional professional societies.
Outreach & Engagement
- Promote regional and international AACT events and encourage attendance.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective AACT members and serve as a point of contact within the region.
- Collect insights and feedback from regional events and share them with the AACT Education Committee to support program development.
Program Participation
- Submit annual reports summarizing activities, key contacts, meetings attended, and engagement opportunities.
- Maintain an up-to-date record of regional society meetings and AACT representation activities.
- Be an active AACT member for a minimum of 3 years.
- Preferred experience as a speaker or presenter at a toxicology, pharmacy or medical-related scientific conference.
- Possess a valid passport for international travel.
- Demonstrate commitment to advancing AACT’s mission regionally and globally.
