What happens to circulating microRNA-122 (miR-122) in patients with non-toxic acute acetaminophen ingestions?
In a recent observational study of 10 patients with an acute ingestion of acetaminophen that had a 4-hour concentration below the Rumack-Matthew nomogram line, there was no difference in miR-122 in patients with acetaminophen exposure versus negative controls.
