What species of buffalobish is most recently associated with Haff disease?
Deeds JR et al. recently investigated cases of Haff disease between 2010 and 2020 in the US. 16 of the 24 samples tested identifed I. bubalus. This is contrary to previous reports that I. cyprinellus was the causative species.
