What clinical manifestations predict mortality from dinitrophenol exposures reported to poison centers?
Acidosis, tachycardia, agitation/confusion, and hyperpyrexia. A retrospective review of dinitrophenol exposures reported to US and UK poison centers identified 204 cases from 2007-2018 with a total of 30 deaths (14.7%).
