Happy Halloween from AACT! This is a time when a trick can be disguised as a treat. AACT advises everyone to be extra careful during Halloween. Keep chemicals, and OTC and prescription medications locked up and away from people. Follow the recommendations of health experts for good health practice, not politicians. Be safe and smart to avoid exposure to COVID19, like public gatherings in closed spaces without masks. Avoid situations that promote excessive alcohol consumption, substance abuse or violence.
The AACT also encourages you to vote. The AACT is an organization of clinical scientists that use science to guide our decisions in the care of our patients. We advise you to do the same in your health decisions, and make your decision in the elections reflect the logic. The antidote against fear, anxiety and conspiracies controlling your life, is informed scientific evidence-based facts, not your opinion or treatments that are unproven and potentially harmful. Your vote counts!
