June has been a blur because of all the events this month, personally and professionally. Which means one third of the summer is almost over too. June is another great transition month, when we wave our hopeful goodbyes to our graduates, who are taking another step toward independence. It is a such strange paradox to feel both full and empty at the same time.
NACCT 2022 will take place in San Francisco, September 14-18. It will be an in-person event only, with the ACMT and AACT pre-meeting symposia, followed by three days of the main meeting, just like you remember it. For those of you who have not yet attended, this is the big stage where everyone can shine. The symposia, posters sessions, platforms and networking are the perfect dose of clinical toxicology to recharge and inspire you. Let’s watch some sunsets on the Bay together!

The keynote speaker, Dr. Lauren Esposito, PhD, from the California Academy of Sciences, has devoted her career to studying scorpion venoms. She will guide us through the incredible research of scorpion venom mechanisms and potential applications for the future. She will turn your arachnophobia into arachnophilia!
The AACT membership app will be your essential accessory to stay connected at NACCT. You can use it to find meetings and receive push notifications of the latest news. When you have some downtime, you can use the app to relax and peruse the abstracts before the poster sessions.
