Clinical toxicology in India is shaped by a high burden of poisoning and envenoming, a spectrum of exposures that differs from that commonly encountered in North America, and significant challenges in access to care, diagnostic testing, toxicology information, and specialized expertise. This session will explore these differences and challenges in the Indian context, illustrated through selected clinical encounters involving unusual and locally relevant exposures.
