Application of Noninvasive Brain Stimulation Techniques to Addiction

Description:
This webinar will feature Victor Tang, an addiction psychiatrist-scientist at University of Toronto. Dr. Tang will share insights from his research adapting Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) techniques—including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulationfor individuals with substance use disorders.

The session will highlight emerging applications of these innovative neuromodulation approaches in addiction care, with particular attention to the unique safety considerations and clinical implications for this patient population. Attendees will gain valuable perspectives on how evolving brain stimulation technologies may expand treatment options and support better outcomes in addiction medicine.
