Help Page

How do I login?

Your username is your email address. It is the email address that you entered when you filled out your renewal application, and the email address that AACT uses to contact you. If the system can’t find your email address, please contact the central office at admin@clintox.org

The first time you visit the site, you will be prompted to choose a password.

What if I don’t have an active email address?

We have set up a ‘fake’ email address for you to use. Sign in as: lastnamefirstinitial@noreply.clintox.org.

Your password has already been set for you and it is: lastnamefirstinitial.

Once you are logged into your profile, you can change your password.

How to navigate through the site?

As with any new site, it will take some time to get familiar with the navigation.

The top toolbar is essentially the public view of the website and has quite a lot of resources available.

Once you are logged in, the member only pages and menu will be to the right side of your screen. Here you will find Member Home and the AACT Member menu, and if you are also an ABAT, the ABAT Member menu. This is where you will be able to update your user profile, access the member directory, link to Clinical Toxicology, locate and view AACT webinars etc.

To access the Journal, you have to be signed in as a member and go to the link “Clinical Toxicology” from the right side of your screen. You can not access full text of the journal when you are not signed in or by clicking the “Clinical Toxicology” link under Resources on the top toolbar (that is available for public access)

Wherever you are in the site, the Member Home button will be on the top right and will take you back to the main member screen.

What should I do the first time I log in?

The first time you log in, please go to your user profile. View the information and confirm that it is correct. Update any information that requires updating. Upload a JPEG photo of yourself (if you choose). Update your areas of interest and your professional organizations.

What should I do after I update my profile?

Spend some time navigating through the site. We hope you find it useful.

Question of the Day

If you choose not to receive Question of the Day via email daily, please check/change that in your user profile.

I see a symbol of an eye on my profile. What does that mean?

The eye represents what is viewable during the member directory search within the member side of the website. If the eye is crossed out, then that information is not viewable. There are some areas that allow you to choose whether you would like the information to be viewable by clicking on the eye.
