AACT Exposure History Form (pdf)

Background

The Occupational and Environmental Toxicology SIG serves to unite members of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology with an interest in the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and conditions associated with exposure to environmental toxicants. Potential members include physician toxicologists with backgrounds in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Poison Center personnel, nurses and pharmacists. The SIG hopes to foster increased communication between its members, advancing the practice in the field through an open exchange of ideas and expertise. The nature of the subject also leads to interest and involvement of the SIG members in international medicine, public policy, and regulatory toxicology.

Activities

Official activities of the SIG include:

  1. Organizing educational symposia on important topics within occupational and environmental toxicology

  2. Facilitating discussion among members through the Occupational and Environmental Toxicology SIG email distribution list

  3. Disseminate new and important information in the field
